01 Challenges

Integrated planning across multiple processes

With the division of the original company Intercable into two independent organizations (Intercable TEC and Intercable Automotive Solutions), the existing SAP IBP system initially remained in the Automotive Solution and continued to be used there.

At the same time, the complexity of the planning increased significantly:
Capacity planning, sales planning, material quantities, and other calculations had to be integrated into a single process. The increasing number of planning cycles placed additional demands on the structure and efficiency of the processes.

02 Solution approach with TIVTAL

Continuous development of SAP IBP

The collaboration with TIVTAL developed from an already existing successful partnership. Key factors were the existing expertise, the excellent cooperation, and the personal connection.

Together, SAP IBP was continuously developed and used as a central platform for integrated planning. The focus was on pragmatically implementing even complex requirements and quickly arriving at viable solutions.
