SAP IBP as new territory
implemented in partnership

How a manufacturer of industrial plugs and sockets and charging solutions for electromobility, S&OP, successfully built up together with TIVTAL.

01 Challenges

Lack of experience with S&OP and SAP IBP

For the company, S&OP and SAP IBP were completely new territory. There were no internal resources with the necessary process experience. Previous vendors had impressed with extensive standard presentations, but these didn't reflect the company's specific needs. Therefore, it was crucial to find a partner who could address the company's specific requirements and was personally accessible.

“We deliberately wanted to work with a smaller partner who doesn’t see us as a run-of-the-mill customer, but supports us in the targeted development of our processes.”

02 Solution approach with TIVTAL

Personalized consulting with tailored best practices

TIVTAL impressed with its direct contact with the project managers and its thorough engagement with Mennekes' challenges. Requirements were discussed collaboratively and gradually translated into viable processes. The collaboration was described as personal and based on trust from the outset.

By strategically applying best practices, the company was able to significantly reduce costs during the implementation phase. At the same time, it was possible to adapt the templates used to the company's requirements in order to meet individual needs and process flows.

03 Results in everyday life

Structured and sustainably established planning

Implementation efforts were significantly reduced through best practices, yet still customized for Mennekes.

SAP IBP has become a central component of corporate planning. Processes have been structured and sustainably integrated into daily work. Collaboration is perceived as professional, reliable, and long-term – especially considering the strategic importance of S&OP.

“S&OP remains a very important project for us and we have found a very good partner in TIVTAL.”
